MEETING: JAMSHED NURMAHMADZODA WITH THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE WORLD BANK

As part of the 55th session of the UN Statistical Commission, the Director of the Agency for Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Jamshed Nurmahmadzoda, met with the representative of the World Bank, Ms. Haishan Fu.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the organization of such a useful and necessary meeting and expressed their opinion on further cooperation between the Statistical Agency of Tajikistan and the World Bank in the proccess of the implementation of a number of works within the framework of the project “Development of the National Statistics System in Tajikistan” and the development of a second action plan for the implementation of the Strategy for the Development of National Statistics.

At the same time, the parties exchanged views on expanding cooperation in the direction of increasing the number of households, studying household budgets, the need to conduct an agricultural census in Tajikistan, complete digitalization of the statistics and the training of highly qualified personnel.
