TRAINING FOR INCREASING LEADERSHIP SKILLS OF WOMEN IN THE AGENCY ON STATISTICS

12 September at the Agency on statistics under the President Republic of Tajikistan on the initiative Committee for women’s affairs and a training session was held with the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the action plan “State program for the education, selection and placement of leadership personnel from among women and girls for 2023-2030”.

This training was conducted with the aim of increasing the level of knowledge, leadership skills, legal and political knowledge of women and girls working in ministries and government agencies, and it was attended by women and girls employees of the statistics agency.

Representatives Committee for women’s affairs and families under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, during their speech, noted that in the social policy of the state and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, much attention is paid to the issue of increasing the status of women and girls in the life of society.

This is due to the fact that the ranks of female leaders are growing year after year, and they successfully and proudly conduct their activities in one area or another, possessing knowledge and wisdom, expertise, high involvement, a pure heart and conscience. At the end of the training, the chairperson of the Council of Women and Girls of the Agency on statistics – Zarina Qodirova, also gave a speech, noting that, on the instructions and with the direct support of the country’s top leadership, the ranks of women and girls are growing every day. Today we are proud the fact that women and girls work in all branches of government and contribute to the development of various spheres of society. In particular, the role of women in the development of the sphere of national statistics is very significant today.

At present, more than 209 women work in state statistics bodies, which is 44.1% of the total number of employees, 43 of whom bear high professional responsibility in the management team. It follows It should be noted that this year the management of the Statistics Agency took practical steps to implement the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated April 22, 2022 “On the state program for the education, selection and placement of leadership personnel from among gifted women and girls for 2020-2030”, which is currently under implementation.
