69TH MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF STATISTICAL AUTHORITIES HEADS OF THE MEMBER STATES OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF INDEPENDENT STATES

In Dushanbe, within the framework of the International Meeting on Labor Statistics entitled “Development of labor statistics taking into account the decisions of the 21st International Conference on Labor Statistics ” took place the 69th meeting of the Council of Heads of Statistical Bodies of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which was headed by the Director of the Agency for Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the work of the Council, important statistical issues of the CIS member states were considered, appropriate decisions were made to improve the activities of the statistical bodies of the member states and the future plans of the CIS Committee on Statistics. Also during the meeting, issues of the formation and modern methods of timely dissemination of statistical information using modern information technologies were raised to increase the level of user satisfaction with statistical data, the existing practice of developing official statistical data in member states and the implementation of recommendations of international experts from the Interstate Committee on Statistics of the CIS, the International Labor Organization (ILO), the statistical department of the UN Economic Commission for Europe and other relevant international organizations in the statistical system of the CIS member states.
