IN AGENCY ACCORDING TO STATISTICS ON ELECTIONS WAS TRAINING HAS BEEN CONDUCTED CONSULTATION

4 February at the Agency on statistics under the President Republic of Tajikistan a training meeting was held with the participation of Deputy Director of the Agency Nazarzoda Zarina, expert of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Republic of Tajikistan Kodirzoda Jurabek and the Agency staff.

During the introductory consultations Aspects of the legislation and the procedure for participating in elections were explained.

Nazarzoda Zarina stressed that the role elections How important political events in the development and progress of society is significant , civilized society impossible introduce without democratic electoral process .

It was emphasized that elections in a democratic system are one of the most important phenomena that ensure the expression of the will and direct participation of the people in governing the state.

Expert Central commissions on elections and referendums of the Republic of Tajikistan Kodirzoda Jurabek spoke about the essence and necessity of elections of deputies of the House of Representatives and local assemblies of people’s deputies and the role of each voter’s vote in the elections, and also made a useful report on other issues of the electoral process, the role of elections in ensuring peace, stability and integration of society, participation of youth in elections, equality in the implementation of electoral rights and other pressing issues.

Let us recall that the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated December 4, 2024 “On the appointment of elections of a new convocation of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan and local assemblies of people’s deputies” was adopted. In accordance with him, the elections of deputies of the new convocation of the House of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Assembly of People’s Deputies of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, regions, the city of Dushanbe, cities and districts are scheduled for March 2, 2025, and the elections of members of the new convocation of the National Council of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan are scheduled for March 28, 2025.
