MEETING WITH JOSE ROSERO – HEAD OF THE STATISTICS OFFICE OF THE UN FOOD AND AGRICULTURE ORGANIZATION

As part of the 55th session of the UN Statistical Commission, the Director of the Agency for Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Jamshed Nurmahmadzoda, met with the head of the Department of Statistics of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN, Mr. Jose Rosero.

The main issue discussed at this meeting was the technical and methodological assistance of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization to statistical agencies. In this process, this organization expressed its readiness to cooperate and provide technical assistance to conduct an agricultural census and collect statistical data on food security in Tajikistan.
