REPRESENTATIVES OF TAJIKISTAN TOOK PART IN THE MEETING OF THE CENSUS EXPERT GROUP IN GENEVA

As reported earlier, representatives of Tajikistan, led by the First Deputy Director of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Aso Nurullo Asvat participated in the UN Seminar on Population and Housing Census, organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the CIS Committee on Statistics from October 2 to 4 in Geneva, Switzerland.
As part of this seminar, a meeting of the expert group on the exchange of experience in the field of population and housing census was held on October 4, during which the Tajik side took an active part and presented useful proposals for the next population census and housing census.
