STATISTICS GBAO . FROM PERFORMANCE OF 298 STATISTICS WORKS OF PLAN PROGRAMS

Main Department of Statistical Agency under the President Republic of Tajikistan in GBAO, it proudly summed up the results of the third quarter of the current year within the framework of the “statistical work program” for the timely collection, preparation and submission of statistical reports to the central office of the statistics agency and the executive bodies of state power of GBAO, having completed 298 statistical works, which make up one hundred percent of the plan.”

This was stated by the head of the Main Department of Statistics of GBAO Odinekov Khushkadam at an extended meeting of the board of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan during the presentation of the final report of the Main Directorate for the Socio-Economic Situation of the Region for the first nine months of 2024. According to Odinekov Khushkadama , volume industrial production products areas for the first nine months of the current year amounted to 191.3 million somoni, which is 41.3 million more than for the same period last year, and provided a growth rate of 127.3%.

The total volume of agricultural products for this period in all categories of the region’s economy amounted to 551.3 million somoni, which is 4.1% more in comparable prices compared to January-September 2023, including 5.7% in crop production and 2.7% in livestock production. As of October 1, 2024, the number of cattle in all categories of farms amounted to 122.5 thousand heads, which is 3.2 thousand heads or 2.7% more than in the same period last year. Over the same period, the number of sheep and goats amounted to 384.4 thousand heads, which is 1.4% more. In January-September 2024, 836.2 thousand tons of cargo were transported by all types of motor transport in the region, which is 19.9% more than in the same period last year. For the specified period, the volume turnover in wholesale and retail trade and car repair in the area compiled 197.2 million somoni, which, compared to the same period last year, increased in comparable prices by 10.3% or by 27.6 million somoni.

Volume paid services in all service sectors amounted to 131.1 million somoni, which is 16.2% more than in the same period last year at comparable prices. Of the total volume of services, 59.8% or 78.4 million somoni were paid services population .
