TURNOVER WHOLESALE RETAIL TRADE AND CAR REPAIR IN TAJIKISTAN ACHIEVED 39.7 BILLION SOMONI

In the first eight months of this year, the volume of production in Tajikistan turnover in wholesale and retail trade and car repair compiled 39.7 billion somoni, increasing by 11.8% in comparable prices compared to the same period last year (the price index was 103.2%).

General volume retail turnover and car repair compiled 33.6 billion somoni , and The republic’s food, raw materials and mixed goods markets accounted for 38.1 percent of the total retail turnover, amounting to 15.1 billion somoni. During this period, goods worth 7 billion somoni were sold. Turnover enterprises for the provision of technical repair services cars compiled 408.4 million somoni .

Share food goods in the total volume of retail trade turnover amounted to 49.9% or 16.8 billion somoni, non-food products – 50.1% or 16.9 billion somoni, i.e. food products worth 67.3 million somoni were not sold enough.

• In the total volume of sales of food products, the most important by value are meat and meat products (15.5%), bread and bakery products (17.5%), sugar and confectionery (4.9%), vegetables and potatoes (5.3%) and vegetable oil (4.4%). From non-food goods the greatest share have to for building materials (29.1%), automobiles and spare parts for them (11.4%), fabrics (8.8%), power tools (4.6%), etc.

During this period, the turnover retail trade and car repair on average, per capita of the republic amounted to 3309.60 somoni .

The largest coefficient turnover of wholesale, retail trade and car repairs accounts for mostly to Sogdian region (31.6%) and the city of Dushanbe (28.7%).

Coefficient turnover non-governmental sectors in January-August of this year amounted to 99.8% of the total volume.
