PARTICIPATION DELEGATIONS OF TAJIKISTAN IN THE REGIONAL SEMINAR FOR THE FIRST LEADERS STATISTICAL OFFICES OF ASIA-PACIFIC REGION IN ULAN BATOR, MONGOLIA

4 September a regional seminar on “Improving the statistical leadership skills of the top managers of statistical bodies in the Asia-Pacific region” was launched in the city of Ulaanbaatar, Republic of Mongolia. The delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan at this seminar is headed by the Director of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Jamshed Nurmahmadzoda .

The regional workshop is organized by the United Nations Institute for Statistics for Asia and the Pacific, the international organization for cooperation in statistics for development in the 21st century (PARIS21), where participants have the opportunity to exchange experiences and communicate about the statistical data management system, in particular about the experience of statistical agencies in the transition to statistical reporting with the extensive use of modern technologies in the process of data collection, personnel management, employee motivation and task performance.

The main objective of the seminar is, first of all, to improve the management skills of the top managers of statistical bodies of states, taking into account the expansion of the volume of statistical data and the demand for data.

Seminar has begun today, 4 September , and continued up to 6 September .
