SAFARALIZODA DAVRON: THE GROWTH RATE IN THE INDUSTRY WAS REACHED AT 13.3 PERCENT

In the first quarter of this year in the city of Dushanbe, the volume of industrial production reached 1 billion 135.6 million somoni, which compared to the same period last year, the growth rate was 113.3% in comparative prices.

Safaralizoda Davron noted this during the final meeting of the Main Department of Statistical Agency in Dushanbe, which took place with the participation of the First Deputy Director of the Agency for Statistics, Aso Nurullo Asvat. Safaralizoda Davron reported at the meeting that the Main Department summed up the results of the first quarter of this year in accordance with the program of statistical work, instructions and instructions of the management of the Agency for Statistics and the executive body of the state power of the city of Dushanbe, having completed 182 statistical works, which is one hundred percent of the plan.

It was reported that in January – March 2024, 4 million 130.4 thousand tons of cargo were transported by all types of transport, which is 18.6 percent more than the same period last year. During this period, the volume of trade turnover amounted to 3 billion 980.6 million somoni, which compared to the first quarter of last year in comparative prices increased by 12.4 percent or by 659.9 million somoni. The share of food products in the total volume of retail trade turnover was 50.1 percent, and non-food products – 49.9 percent. The turnover of public catering together with hotel and restaurant services over the past period amounted to 272.8 million somoni, which is 11.2% more than the same period last year in comparable prices. The volume of paid services in the first quarter amounted to 3 billion 459.8 million somoni, which is 24.8% more in comparative prices compared to the same period last year.
