SHARE SOGHDIAN AREAS IN THE TOTAL VOLUME OF INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION OF THE COUNTRY ACCOUNTED FOR 56.1%

Over the first 9 months of this year, the volume of industrial production in the Sughd region was increased to 20 billion 360.7 million somoni, and the development rate was achieved at the level of 113.5 percent. 

Taking into account announcements 2022-2026 years years industrial development to this question in Sogd The area is receiving increased attention. In this regard, the number of industrial enterprises in the region amounted to 1198, of which 1160 were manufacturing enterprises and 38 industrial service enterprises. Share region in general volume of industrial products countries is 56.1 %.

During this period, the volume of production in the mining industry increased by 6.9 billion somoni or 35.8%, in the processing industry – by 11.9 billion somoni or 8.0% compared to the same period last year, the growth rate in the processing industry is mainly due to an increase in the production of flour – by 30.0% or 284.6 thousand tons, vegetable oil – by 16.5 thousand or 3.5 thousand tons, poultry meat – by 1.7 times or 23.6 thousand tons, confectionery – by 48.9% or 3.2 thousand tons and other products. On share of food products accounted for 43.6 % of production in processing industry . Production all types of non-metallic ores increased by 36.8%, mainly due to the production of building bricks by 6.6%, building concrete by 30.1% and plastic pipes by 16.8%. The production of fabrics and garments decreased by 22.2%, which was mainly due to a 16.5% reduction in the production of garments. Water supply, purification, wastewater treatment and availability of recycling amounted to 118.7 million somoni, the growth rate of which increased by 2.8 times compared to the same period last year.
