STATISTICAL PUBLICATION “AGRICULTURE IN THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN 2024” HAS BEEN RELEASED

This publication has the main indicators of the development of the agricultural sector of the Republic of Tajikistan for 1991, 2018-2023. The publication pays special attention to the indicators of the development of the agricultural sector and the formation of various types of property: the public sector, dehkan farms and household farms, since the reforms carried out in the republic affected the change in the share of each of these sectors.

In addition to statistical data, the collection also uses land balance data from the State Committee for Land Management and Geodesy of the Republic of Tajikistan on the size of agricultural land by categories of land users and types of agricultural land (arable land, perennial plantings, hayfields, pastures and fallow lands). In addition, the collection provides brief methodological explanations for each economic and statistical term and methods for their calculation.

The collection was prepared by the Department of Agricultural Statistics and Environmental Protection of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
