Statistical publication The Number of Population as of 1st January 2024 has been released

The publication presents data on the number of permanent population by districts, cities, towns and regions of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the population by gender and age groups.
When calculating the population at the beginning of the year, data from the 2020 population and housing census and the annual accounting of the number of births, deaths, arrivals, departures and administrative-territorial changes were used.
