THE STATE FLAG IS A SYMBOL OF HONOR AND FREEDOM

Under this title, a meeting dedicated to the National Flag Day was held at the Statistics Agency.

Today at the Agency on statistics under the President Republic of Tajikistan a ceremonial meeting was held with the participation of the Agency’s management and employees on the occasion of the State Flag Day.

Meeting began in a solemn atmosphere with the raising of the National Flag in the hall and the performance of the national anthem.

Director of the Statistics Agency Jamshed Nurmahmadzoda stated that from the day the Tajik people became the owners of the state flag, fundamental changes took place in the political, economic, social and spiritual life of the country. And most importantly, the adoption of the Flag contributed to the rise of national feeling and the level of self-awareness of the Tajik people.

At It was noted that since the day of its adoption, the flag, along with the state emblem and national anthem, as a symbol of the sovereign state of Tajiks, has become a sacred spiritual heritage of our society, and small and great honor it with love and devotion to their homeland and national state.

So respect to the state flag is an expression love and the devotion of each citizen Homelands national statehood , glorious people of Tajikistan selflessly works under the banner of his state in all spheres.

During the meeting, Deputy Director of the Agency – Nazarzoda Zarina stated in her speech that in fact the banner and flagpole are the heritage of our people from their ancestors, its origin has a very ancient history. If we look at symbols from the point of view of study and analysis, then each symbol to some extent reflects the history, fate and adventures of peoples, nationalities, nations and states, reflects culture and civilization, dreams and hopes of people. At the same time, during the meeting, a number of employees expressed their opinions on the history of holding the flag, national identity and respect for this sacred national symbol.
